Tamar (Tamo) Nasidze is an electronic music producer, choir conductor and sound designer from Tbilisi, Georgia. She studies choir conducting at Tbilisi State Conservatoire and has completed a Songwriting and Music production course at Creative Education Studio (Tbilisi). After a long path in various types of music including Georgian chant, folk, alternative rock and classical music Tamo finally came to experimental electronic music production to bring together her different influences in a unique individual sound.
Tamar has participated in different musical projects including UVI World Suite 2 (Creating sample libraries for academic choir, Georgian folk instruments & choirs, orchestral instruments). She is one of the 13 musicians of an experimental project “If Strangers”, which was founded and created in Creative Education Studio during the lock-down circumstances around the world. The double album “DUST” was released by CES Records in July 2020. She also participated in recently released album “NATELA” - dedicated to Natela Svanidze, female experimental musician from Georgia (1926-2017) by CES Records, where she composed a rework track on Natela’s original music along with the two talented Georgian artists mess_montage and HVL.
At the moment she lives in Lübeck, Germany where she is completing her Master Studies at Lübeck Academy of Music, studies conducting, Ableton and Max for live. Besides she works on audio sample sound design as well as her own experimental projects. She is open to collaborations with other musicians and artists.
